Customer Project Engineer (Equipment Solutions)
(Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan)

Responsibilities:

* This position will be covering customers in Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan.
* Supporting sales in the sales process starting with in discovering phase, the supporting phase and the following up of the corresponding project.
* Ensuring all jobs compliance with all health & safety issues and estimates are commercial correct, profitability will be achieved. Working with the sales representatives from discovery phase to commissioning.
* Liaising with customers, planners, and sales team. Outsourcing engineering and contracting companies and technicians.
* Producing scope and estimation of projects.
* Generating proper scoping & proposal documentation such as Risk Assessments.
* Following up on large projects.
* Guiding technicians working on his/hers large projects
* Conducting site inspections/surveys in conjunction with Sales or directly from customer (in consultation with sales representatives).
* Initiating investigation of customer satisfaction via CFS sheets with every commissioned project.
* Assisting with ISO audits.

Requirements:

* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Civil Engineering (Graduate + 3 years experience) or (Diploma + 10 years experience)
* 3 years of relevant working experience in an appropriate technical and service function with large scale of project management in the region.
* Good communication skills
* Assertive
* Able to read technical drawings/specifications/site maps.
* Good communication skills
* Open to travel

It will take one hour from Batam island. Chartered aircrafts is also available and advance booking is recommended. Sultan Thaha airport is only a 10 minutes drive from the town center. Trading ships sail along Batang Hari river to Boom Batu, Jambi's riverport, one of the busiest parts in Sumatra. To see more of the land, bus riding is an interesting experience. It is 4 hours drive from Palembang and 8 hours drive from Padang.
